Primary Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate CNC production equipment including waterjet, Haas gantry mills, plasma machines, and CNC vertical mills
- Process parts accurately using blueprints, work instructions, and verbal specifications
- Perform tool changes, adjust offsets, and maintain cutting tools for optimal performance
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances
- Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and indicators (inch and metric)
- Monitor machine operations, identify malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain and edit CNC programs for process optimization and performance improvements
- Operate multiple machines simultaneously when production allows
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed
Required Qualifications
- Previous CNC machining or CNC operator experience required
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Basic CNC G & M code knowledge preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
- High school diploma or equivalent required (technical school preferred)
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Compensation
Compensation: $25–$35/hr (Based on Experience, Benefit Package Available)
