Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on trucks and company vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical problems and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Perform oil changes, brake repairs, fluid checks, filter replacements, and preventative maintenance
- Inspect trucks and vehicles to identify needed repairs and safety concerns
- Repair and replace mechanical components as needed
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and completed repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance guidelines
- Assist with additional mechanical, equipment maintenance, and shop duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive, truck, diesel, equipment maintenance, or mechanical repair experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience performing preventative maintenance and basic mechanical repairs
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and complete repairs efficiently
- Basic understanding of vehicle electrical, brake, and mechanical systems preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the shift
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
Pay
$17–$20/hr (Based on Experience, Benefit Package Available)
