Role and Responsibilities

Lead in-person and remote workgroups. Assign tasks and duties daily or as needed. Know or become familiar with how to prepare and /or review commercial and commercial real estate loan documentation in accordance with legal requirements, regulatory statutes and Huntington credit policy and procedures. Maintain expected service levels. Advises lending personnel regarding credit policy, documentation, and compliance. Determines deficiencies and exceptions in loan documentation for the purpose of exception reporting and/or correcting same. Works with legal department and other outside professionals in coordinating efforts associated with loan documentation and exception clearing. Ensures proper loan and collateral documentation by staying abreast of and interpreting various laws, regulations, policies and procedures of loan documentation. Follows, or in some cases establishes, effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored, and controlled and compliance requirements are adhered to. Colleague will be able to independently understand and complete documentation for complex loan and collateral structures, train newer colleagues on basic and complex loan concepts, manage workflow and queue, train and develop colleagues based upon Quality Review results. Develop and maintain procedures and cross train with other functions of Commercial Loan Servicing and help other teams. This colleague will be looked as one to mentor and train newer colleagues and be able to represent the team manager in meetings, presentations, conference calls, etc.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent 1 or more years of team lead/supervisory/management experience, and/or project lead Experience in a production/metric work environment

Preferred Skills

Associate Degree or advanced degree Familiarity with UCC documentation and lien placement. Familiarity with mortgage and assignment of rents Clear and concise communicator with a developed emotional I.Q. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. (Use will be common) Experience developing or implementing workflow processes. Demonstrated ability to work on other Specialty Services functions such as Loan Sales, General Ledgers, Syndications, or Various Government Lending tasks. “Change oriented Mindset”
