Micware North America Inc, established in 2014, is a team that builds on the existing technology base to provide fundamental development work and new business opportunities. By participating in the company's general meetings held in Japan several times a year, employees are able to understand the company's policies and build a strong bond as a team.

As a Mid Level Software Engineer, you will:

• Design, implement, and test your software
• Lead a team by tracking progress, allocating tasks, and assessing team needs
• Manage stakeholder needs and requests while balancing product roadmap priorities
• Proactively communicate with stakeholders, other development teams, QA teams, infrastructure teams, and security teams to meet deadlines and satisfy customer requirements
• Make estimates for product/feature delivery timelines
• Attend meeting with Japan after hours

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in software development or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development
• 1-3 years of experience as a product owner, product manager, project manager, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Great communication skills: someone who is exceptional at building trust, persuading stakeholders, inspiring team members, and selling solutions
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to plan for future work while meeting delivery timelines with rapidly changing priorities

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Git is plus
• Conversational level Japanese language skills
• Experience in the automotive industry

Salary: $70,000 to $90,000 based on experience

• Core time is 9AM to 6PM (lunch from 12PM to 1PM)
