We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing web applications, proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies, with expertise in frameworks such as React and modern .NET. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Reports to: Director of Software Engineering

Location: Hybrid - Dublin, Ohio (3 days) Remote (2 days)

Responsibilities:

• Apply knowledge of technical concepts and principals to design and develop a variety of software projects.

• Develop and maintain extensible applications, APIs, and database models in accordance with department standards.

• Participate in software deployments and support applications after release.

• Collaborate with team members to design and estimate solutions.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

• Optimize the performance and scalability of the web application.

• Test and debug the web application to ensure it meets the functional and performance requirements.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and best practices to ensure that the organization's web applications are state-of-the-art

• Take ownership of end-to-end development of web applications, from designing user interfaces to implementing server-side logic.

• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks like React, ensuring seamless user experiences across various devices and browsers.

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side components and APIs using modern .NET technologies, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives

• Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in web development. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the evolution of our development practices and standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building and supporting software systems

• Strong problem solving and organizational skills

• Experience with .NET - ASP.NET Core, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks

• Experience with React - Other similar frameworks are nice to have such as Angular, Vue.js, etc

• Experience with relational database design and optimization

• Bachelor of Computer Science or similar degree or certification
