Work Designation

As a Framer, you should be able to interpret blueprints and drawings to determine layout of building interiors. You should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, have a working knowledge of construction/carpentry, and be able to work as a team.

Schedule and Pay

Mon-Fri (7am-4pm) PAY IS DEPENDENT ON SKILL SET AND EXPERIENCE FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS NO EXPERIENCE, STARTING RATE IS AT $17/HR

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure correct components and supplies are securely in place on interior and exterior of building
  • Interpret blueprint and technical drawings to install
  • Measure, mark and cut drywall panels, wallboard, etc
  • Patch, trim and smooth, joining panels, tape and plaster
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, perform proper maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Be comfortable with heights including ladders, scaffolds, etc
  • Troubleshoot issues - at MC and on-site (must be willing to travel to troubleshoot issues on-site)

Requirements

  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • 5 years Carpentry experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and tape measure, working knowledge of construction math, carpentry, hand/power tools, drywall installation
  • Self-sufficient and self-motivated, willingness to perform all tasks
  • Perform job specific physical requirements under the specified working conditions including but not limited to: work on knees, conduct overhead work for extended periods, climbing, balancing, standing, lifting 50lbs, working outside when necessary
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed, including weekends and have timely transportation
