Manufacturing General Laborer | Milford, OH
1st Shift | $19/hr Starting
Express Employment Professionals Cincinnati East is now hiring general laborers for a manufacturing facility in Milford, OH.
Core Functions:
- Communicating with the Production team on job progress / questions / concerns.
- Operate the OBI punch press, mechanical press, shear, and spot welder ensuring precision and safety during operation.
- Set up and adjust dies for the OBI and manual punch press.
- Perform troubleshooting on the punch presses.
- Operate spot welders to join metal parts, ensuring strong and precise welds.
- Inspect and test welded joints to ensure quality and durability.
- Perform troubleshooting on spot welders.
- Shear metal to correct sizes using manual shears, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience & Requirements:
- Excellent Attendance required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of metal fabrication experience.
- Mechanical experience or aptitude.
- Ability to set up dies.
- Experience with manual shears, OBI punch press, mechanical press, and spot welder.
- Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to perform most work while standing at floor level.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands.
- Self-motivated.
Shift: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 6a-4:30pm Pay: $19/hour starting
