Express Employment Professionals Cincinnati East is now hiring a Laminating Production Associate to join a mounting and lamination service provider in Batavia, OH. The Laminating Production Associate supports the laminating team by assisting with machine operation, material handling, and product inspection. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates eager to learn manufacturing skills. The role involves preparing materials, monitoring processes, and ensuring production runs safely and efficiently.
Core Functions:
- Assist with setup, operation, and monitoring of laminating machines.
- Load and unload raw materials, rolls, or sheets onto equipment.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow production schedules and meet output goals.
- Report equipment malfunctions or product issues to supervisors.
- Support machine operators with general labor tasks.
- Adhere to all company and OSHA safety procedures.
Skills, Abilities, Requirements:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- No prior laminating or manufacturing experience necessary; training provided.
- Experience in production, warehouse, or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Carpentry experience preferred but not required.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
