Process Operator | Lebanon, OH

2nd Shift (Rotation Schedule) | $23.00/hour

Express Employment Professionals Cincinnati East is now hiring to fulfill a Process Operator to join the second shift of a manufacturing firm based out of Lebanon, OH.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain strict adherence to equipment SOPs, GMP standards, food & flavor regulations (kosher), and documentation requirements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including use of engineering controls and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe workplace for all employees.
• Operate Production equipment according to product manufacturing instructions to produce high quality product in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Utilize equipment and facility computer programs to effectively maintain process and material data related to manufacturing requirements.
• Store ingredients in the proper location with the proper closure of partial ingredient to prevent contamination.
• Assure proper documentation is reported including amounts used, lot numbers, yields, metal detection, etc.
• Label raw materials, finished goods, and supplies properly.
• Maintain at least a “Quality Contributor” rating throughout the year as an Operator.
• Actively participate in periodic continuous improvement and training sessions to increase understanding of, and abilities related to, safety, quality, productivity, materials, and equipment operation
• Assure proper cleaning of equipment and work area and complete sanitation logs.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Ability to work with PLC/distributive computer controls.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
• Flavor industry desired.
• Computer literate.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand for 80% of a 12-hour shift

Shift: 2nd Shift, 5pm-5:30am on a 2-2-3 Rotation Pay: $21/hour + $2/hour shift differential ($23/hour total pay rate)
