Maintenance Technician – Apartment Communities | Direct Hire

Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain apartment community grounds, curb appeal, parking lots, and common areas
- Pick up trash and debris, clean dumpster areas, and identify vehicles for towing when necessary
- Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the property
- Diagnose and complete routine maintenance on HVAC systems, appliances, lighting, plumbing fixtures, doors, locks, windows, and flooring
- Replace light bulbs and maintain common area lighting
- Change locks, make keys, and secure storage areas
- Assist with appliance installations, removals, and unit turnovers
- Support eviction set-outs and removal of abandoned items when necessary
- Inspect the property regularly and address safety concerns promptly
- Maintain pool areas, outdoor amenities, and community facilities
- Complete work orders accurately and maintain a clean, safe work environment
Required Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, handyman, or maintenance technician experience preferred
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and general building maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks throughout the day
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation (typically one weekend per month)
Compensation: Competitive Pay (Direct Hire + Benefits Available)
