Assembler

1st Shift | M-F 6a-2:30p

$18 per hour

Company in Springfield, OH hiring first shift Assembler. Job involves stacking parts, working the assembly line, and assisting press operators and the other assemblers. Entry level opening with advancement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality automotive parts at scheduled jobs per hour rates, ensuring efficient production.
• Lift and place automobile parts on jigs for robotic welding, demonstrating physical dexterity and attention to detail.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and efficiently, maintaining meticulous records.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to 5S principles and promoting a culture of safety.
• Read and follow written operational standards and processes, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
• Operate and maintain current machinery and equipment, demonstrating a deep understanding of welding technology.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization and related departments.
• Exhibit proficiency in basic computer skills and mathematical aptitude.
• Produce finished good products for automotive clients by operating welding machines and robotics, ensuring quality and precision.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Basic computer and math skills.
