Raspberry Bush Trimmer

Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and hard-working individuals to assist with the trimming and maintenance of raspberry bushes. The ideal candidate will have a good work ethic, an eye for detail, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Experience with gardening or farming is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trim and prune raspberry bushes according to established guidelines.
• Remove dead, damaged, or diseased canes to promote healthy growth.
• Ensure bushes are well-maintained, ensuring proper shape and spacing.
• Remove excess growth that may hinder fruit production or quality.
• Assist in the cleanup of plant debris and trimmings.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Perform other tasks related to raspberry farming as needed.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Comfortable working with pruning tools and other equipment.
• Physical stamina to bend, crouch, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Experience in agriculture, gardening, or landscaping is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel regularly throughout the day.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including exposure to sun, rain, and varying temperatures.
