Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in programming CNC machines. As a CNC Operator & Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This position plays a vital role in our production team, ensuring products meet exact specifications and quality standards.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.)
• Program CNC machines using G-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360)
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
• Optimize machining processes for efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on design improvements

Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer
• Strong understanding of CNC programming, setup, and machining
• Proficient with CAM software and G/M-code
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and quality
• Familiarity with ISO or AS9100 quality systems (preferred)
