Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator for a well-established nonprofit organization dedicated to serving families and individuals in need. This role is perfect for someone passionate about community engagement and creating programs that make a real difference.
About the Position
The Community Outreach Coordinator will lead initiatives that strengthen connections within the community and provide essential services to children and families in the Kalihi-Pālama and Liliha neighborhoods. You'll manage outreach activities, organize events, and build partnerships that support the organization's mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and launch programs that encourage personal development, family wellness, and social engagement.
- Organize and promote community events to increase participation and awareness.
- Collect and analyze program data for reporting and funding purposes.
- Supervise and mentor staff and volunteers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop relationships with local organizations and community leaders to expand resources and support.
- Prepare regular updates on program progress and assist with budget tracking.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Previous experience in outreach, program coordination, or nonprofit work is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain confidentiality.
