Job Title: Construction Estimator (5+ Years Experience)

Schedule: Day Shift
Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year

Job Overview

A leading construction company in Brampton is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering accurate cost estimates that help win profitable projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractors
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications to develop accurate take-offs
• Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Compare estimated costs to actual project performance and adjust methods accordingly
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define scope and ensure alignment
• Maintain cost data and stay current with industry pricing trends
• Ensure budgets and timelines are met

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in construction estimating
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical specifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of estimating software is an asset
• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Valid G-class driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
