Custodian – Bessemer, AL
Position Overview
We are hiring a Custodian for a well-established fitness facility in Bessemer, AL.
Schedule
- 6:00 AM until approximately lunchtime
- 5–6 hours per day
- 1st shift
- Weekend work may be required as needed
Job Responsibilities
- Empty trash and maintain clean common areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Clean and maintain locker rooms
- Sweep, mop, and perform general cleaning duties
- Keep the facility clean, safe, and presentable for members and guests
- Complete other general custodial duties as needed
Pay
$12.00 per hour
Qualifications
- Reliable and dependable
- Able to work independently
- Comfortable performing physical cleaning duties
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience is a plus
- Must be willing to work occasional weekends as needed
Additional Information
Due to the duties involved with cleaning men's locker rooms and restrooms, male candidates are preferred.
