Primary Responsibilities
- Operate drill press equipment to drill, ream, and counterbore metal components according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions
- Set up materials and verify dimensions prior to machining operations
- Utilize measuring equipment to inspect parts and ensure compliance with specifications
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
- Assist with additional fabrication and production duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Blueprint reading skills are required
- Ability to accurately use measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
- Previous machining experience on mills, lathes, drill presses, or similar equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Vocational school or machining program graduates are encouraged to apply
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Compensation: $20–$24/hr (Based on Experience, Benefit Package Available)
