About This Position
We're seeking a physically fit and reliable Route Driver to join our waste management team. This position combines driving with physical work, collecting and moving wheeled waste carts throughout Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Perfect for someone who wants to stay active while earning steady income with a home-daily schedule.
Primary Responsibilities
- Route driving: Operate box truck safely throughout Ohio and Northern Kentucky territory
- Cart collection: Pick up and transport wheeled waste carts (similar to Rumpke-style containers)
- Physical handling: Move up to 50 carts per day, each weighing up to 200 pounds when full
- Equipment operation: Maneuver wheeled carts using proper lifting and rolling techniques
- Route management: Follow established pickup schedules and maintain accurate records
- Customer service: Interact professionally with customers during pickups
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physically fit and able to handle demanding physical work
- Ability to lift and maneuver carts weighing up to 200 pounds
- Willingness to do more than just drive - this is a hands-on position
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable working independently
- Ability to work in various weather conditions

Ideal Candidate
- Previous delivery or route driving experience preferred

- Forklift or equipment operation experience helpful
- Strong physical fitness and endurance
- Reliable transportation to company location
