We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious DZ Flatbed Driver to deliver lumber and building materials to our client's customers across Downtown. This role involves operating a flatbed truck, loading and unloading lumber, ensuring safe transportation, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a DZ-class flatbed truck to deliver lumber and building materials to construction sites, residential addresses, and commercial properties.

Load and unload lumber using proper lifting techniques, tarping when necessary to secure loads.

Verify delivery orders and ensure materials are delivered in good condition.

Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.

Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues.

Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety procedures, and MTO regulations.

Communicate professionally with dispatch, yard staff, and customers.

Assist with general yard duties when required, including loading and organizing materials.

Qualifications: Valid DZ Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.

Minimum 6 years of DZ driving experience, preferably with flatbed or lumber hauling.

Knowledge of load securement, including chains, straps, and tarping.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and handle lumber products in all weather conditions.

Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Ability to read and understand delivery documentation.
