Equipment Preparation Technician
We have been asked by an industrial pump rental company in Fishers, IN to help them find an Equipment Preparation Technician. In this role, you will assist with cleaning, preparing, and maintaining rental pumps and hoses, as well as performing general yard organization and cleanup. This is a hands-on position focused on equipment preparation, hose maintenance, and keeping the facility clean and organized during a busy period.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $20.00 per hour
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
- Contract Work: Lasting approximately 4-6 weeks
What will you do as an Equipment Preparation Technician?
- Clean and prepare rental pumps and related equipment
- Perform hose maintenance, including removing and replacing hoses as needed
- Use hand tools and scissors to complete assigned tasks
- Inspect and test hoses to help ensure they are ready for rental use
- Organize equipment, materials, and inventory throughout the yard
- Assist with general yard cleanup and housekeeping activities
- Work as part of a team to keep equipment rental-ready
What qualifications will you have as an Equipment Preparation Technician?
- Previous experience using hand tools
- Previous maintenance, labor, warehouse, or equipment-related experience is helpful
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform hands-on work
- Pride in producing quality work
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
