We have been asked by a client in Noblesville, IN to help them find a Production Machine Operator - Packaging. In this role you will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, perform production set-ups and changeovers, maintain quality standards, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay, Schedule & Benefits

  • Pay: $20.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday
  • Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

What will you do as a Production Machine Operator?

  • Operate and monitor one or more pieces of manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production and packaging.
  • Perform production set-ups and changeovers as needed.
  • Monitor production runs and conduct required product inspections to maintain quality standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures and support a zero-injury work environment.
  • Record daily production metrics, including material verification, production quantities, scrap, and machine downtime.
  • Make basic machine adjustments to keep equipment operating efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor mechanical repairs.
  • Complete Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and quality expectations.

Qualifications

What qualifications will you have as a Production Machine Operator?

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Manufacturing machine operator experience preferred, ideally 1–3 years.
  • Experience working with Human Machine Interface (HMI) touch-screen controls in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to navigate production menus, adjust machine settings, manage line speeds, and resolve equipment alarms.
  • Experience performing minor mechanical repairs, clearing jams, and making equipment adjustments.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance and equipment inspection practices.
  • Previous experience with case packaging systems is preferred.
