Job Description
Our client, a leading company in the exhibit industry, is looking for dedicated individuals to join their growing team. Experience in carpentry, construction, cabinet building, and electrical assembly is needed. As a Production Carpenter you will build, assemble, ship, and store trade show exhibits.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and assemble trade show exhibits that include panels, electrical wiring, graphics, and signage.
- Read blueprints
- Build custom crates for shipping panels
- Ensure exhibits are in reusable condition upon return from shows
- Follow instructions to meet quality standards
- Use hand and power tools to complete tasks
- Measure accurately
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals
Qualifications for the Production Carpenter
- Experience in carpentry, construction, cabinet building, electrical assembly, or related fields
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, and squatting
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
