Location: Hueytown / Bessemer, AL
Pay: $25.00+ per hour (based on experience)

Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic for a company in the Hueytown/Bessemer area. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience performing vehicle repairs, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tune-ups.
• Troubleshoot engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle problems.
• Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous professional automotive repair experience required.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Experience with engine repairs, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Compensation

• Starting pay: $25.00+ per hour, depending on experience.
