CNC Burner Table Operator (Plasma/Torch)
Location: Birmingham, AL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $20–$24 per hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a skilled CNC Burner Table Operator to join a well-established fabrication team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating plasma and torch cutting equipment and a strong focus on quality, precision, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC burner tables using plasma and/or oxy-fuel torch systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and cutting plans
- Load and unload steel plates and materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect completed parts for accuracy and quality
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure proper machine setup and calibration
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Experience operating CNC burner or plasma cutting tables
- Familiarity with torch cutting and steel plate fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Dependable, team-oriented, and punctual
