CDL Driver / Distribution Associate – Birmingham, AL

We are seeking an experienced CDL Driver / Distribution Associate for a local industrial supply and distribution facility in Birmingham. This position combines local CDL driving with warehouse and material-handling duties.

Requirements

• Valid CDL
• Hazmat endorsement REQUIRED
• Tanker endorsement REQUIRED
• Acceptable driving record
• Previous commercial driving experience
• Comfortable performing hands-on warehouse and material-handling work
• Ability to safely load, unload, and secure materials

Responsibilities

• Make local deliveries to businesses throughout the Birmingham area
• Transport industrial supplies, refractory materials, pipe, valves, and related products
• Load and unload trucks
• Secure and verify loads before deliveries
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and moving warehouse materials
• Complete required delivery paperwork
• Assist with general warehouse duties when not making deliveries
• Follow DOT and company safety procedures

This is a local driving position with daily home time. Candidates must be comfortable with a role that includes both driving and physical warehouse work.

Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required for consideration.
