CNC Operator Pay: $30–35/hr based on experience + $4/hr shift differential Shift: 2nd Shift

We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join a custom job shop environment specializing in fabricated and welded parts. This position involves machining small batch and custom orders with a focus on precision and quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC mills in a custom/job shop environment
  • Machine fabricated and welded parts to specification
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Perform quality checks using measuring tools and inspection equipment
  • Work on small-run and custom production orders
  • Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule

Qualifications:

  • 5–6+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
  • Strong experience operating CNC Mills
  • Experience working in a job shop or custom manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of G-code and M-code required
  • Programming experience is not required, but candidates should understand machining codes and machine functions
  • Ability to work independently and maintain tight tolerances
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
