We are hiring a dependable Counter Sales / Warehouse Associate for a building supply business in the Hoover/Pelham area. This role is a great fit for someone with strong customer service skills, inside sales experience, and the ability to help in the warehouse as needed.
Pay: $15–$17/hr, based on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:15 AM–4:30 PM Overtime: Regular overtime available/expected
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with inside/counter sales
- Ask open-ended questions to help determine customer needs
- Provide excellent customer service and product support
- Check stock, inventory, and order status
- Communicate clearly with management and team members
- Work in the warehouse regularly as needed
- Lift boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Operate a forklift to help load and unload trucks as needed
Requirements:
- Strong customer service and inside sales skills
- Professional, presentable, and approachable
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working in both sales and warehouse environments
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
