Here's What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:

A typical day for a Hydrovac Truck CDL driver begins early in the morning with a safety check and pre-trip inspection of the truck and equipment. Once everything is cleared, the driver reviews the day’s job tickets, which often involve traveling to construction sites, industrial facilities, or utility locations. Upon arrival, the driver works closely with a crew to safely expose underground utilities or clear debris using high-pressure water and a powerful vacuum system. Precision and attention to detail are essential to avoid damaging critical infrastructure. Throughout the day, the driver operates both the truck and the hydrovac system while ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. After completing each job, proper documentation is completed, debris is disposed of at approved locations, and the equipment is cleaned and maintained. The day typically wraps up back at the yard with a final post-trip inspection and reports, ensuring the truck is ready for the next assignment.
