Position Summary
We are seeking a Lead Installer with proven experience in full tear-out window replacement and finish carpentry. This individual should be capable of running installations independently, maintaining a high standard of workmanship, and leading a helper or small crew on-site. The ideal candidate will require little to no training, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and take pride in delivering best-in-class installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full tear-out window and door replacements, ensuring precise fit, weatherproofing, and finish quality.
- Lead installation jobs from start to finish with minimal supervision.
- Supervise and train a helper or apprentice as needed, maintaining safety and efficiency on-site.
- Communicate professionally with customers, ensuring a positive experience and protecting the company’s reputation.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for tools, vehicles, and materials.
- Identify and resolve jobsite challenges independently.
- Follow all company safety procedures and installation standards.
- Accurately track and report materials used, job completion times, and any project issues.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience installing windows and doors, including full tear-out replacements.
- Strong understanding of building envelope, flashing, and trim carpentry.
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Excellent communication, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Capable of lifting 75+ pounds and working on ladders or scaffolding.
- Experience leading a helper or small crew preferred.
