Here's What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:

A MIG welder, or Metal Inert Gas welder, is a skilled tradesperson who uses a welding machine to join metal parts together by melting them with an electric arc and shielding the weld with an inert gas, typically argon or a mix of gases. A typical day for a MIG welder involves preparing materials by cleaning and measuring metal pieces, setting up the welding machine, and following blueprints or technical drawings to make precise welds. Throughout the day, they inspect their work for accuracy and quality, make adjustments as needed, and may also grind or smooth finished welds. Safety is a key part of the job, so they wear protective gear like gloves, helmets, and flame-resistant clothing while working in environments such as factories, construction sites, or repair shops.
