We have been asked by a client in Fishers, IN to help them find an Office Manager. In this role you will serve as the face of the business, greeting customers, coordinating appointments, managing the showroom experience, and supporting the President and her team for a growing closet and storage solutions company.
Compensation, Schedule, and Benefits
- Pay: $19.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Employment Type: Contract-to-hire (expected conversion in 4–5 months based on mutual fit)
- Benefits (during contract): Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Holiday Pay
- Benefits (upon hire): Comparable benefits offered by the client
What will you do as an Office Manager?
- Welcome new customers and answer incoming phone calls professionally
- Schedule in-home consultations and storage project appointments
- Greet and assist walk-in customers
- Provide tours of the showroom and explain product offerings
- Assist with billing and invoicing using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare customer packets and supporting materials
- Support the President and team with administrative tasks
- Perform additional office and clerical duties as needed
What qualifications will you have as an Office Manager?
- Previous experience in an administrative, office management, or customer-facing role
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software preferred
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional, welcoming demeanor and presentation
- Ability to manage schedules and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, scheduling tools, MS Office, etc.)
- Reliable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
