A CPA firm in the Birmingham area is hiring for a Receptionist / Admin. They offer high-quality and knowledgeable corporate tax and accounting services. They are QuickBooks certified and have been in business for over 35 years. Their mission is to provide clients with high-quality professional services in a timely and cost-effective fashion.
Here's What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like
Responsibilities
- Act as key liaison for the company, providing excellent customer service
- Answer, screen and forward incoming calls
- Receive, sort and distribute mail/deliveries
- Order office/kitchen supplies and keep inventory of stock
Other Duties May Include
- Scheduling exchange of documents with clients, both in person and via electronic platforms
- Process and organize tax documents - requires organization and attention to detail
- Assemble tax returns, both paper and electronically – develop an understanding of federal, state, and local tax return types
- Deliver returns to clients, both in person and via electronic platforms
- Coordinate office activities and operations to maintain maximum efficiency
- Support professional staff as necessary
Qualifications
- 5 years of Receptionist experience required.
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Experience using Adobe.
- Ability to handle the occasional tense customer situation in order to provide the best outcome to all involved.
- Aptitude to learn new applications and perform work electronically, as well as use paper media when necessary; strong computer skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Related work experience a plus but not necessary.
- Internally motivated with a positive attitude.
Schedule & Pay
- FULL TIME; Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm
- $16-22/hr DOE
