Rock Crusher Helper – Calera, AL

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Shift: Second Shift – Starts at 4:00 PM
Location: Calera, Alabama

Job Description

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Rock Crusher Helper to join our team at a local quarry in Calera, AL. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position working around rock-crushing equipment in an outdoor industrial environment. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in dirty, dusty conditions and be ready to assist with daily quarry operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily rock crusher operations and quarry production activities.
• Monitor equipment and report mechanical issues or unusual operating conditions.
• Help maintain a clean and safe work area around crushing equipment.
• Remove buildup and debris from designated work areas as directed.
• Assist equipment operators and other team members with general labor duties.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a dusty, dirty, outdoor quarry environment.
• Must be comfortable with physical labor and demanding working conditions.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work second shift.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous quarry, construction, manufacturing, or general labor experience is a plus.
• MSHA certification is preferred but not required. Paid MSHA training will be provided for candidates who are not currently certified.

Pay & Schedule

• $19.00 per hour to START
• Second shift starting at 4:00 PM
• Paid MSHA training available for non-certified candidates.
• Hands-on opportunity to gain experience in quarry operations.
