We have been asked by a client in Fishers, IN to help them find an Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will assist with various administrative tasks, including processing invoices, handling collections, and managing supply orders. You can work 30 to 40 hours a week, our client can be flexible.
This job opportunity is evaluation, contract-to-hire paying $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Hours: Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm
What will you do as an Administrative Assistant?
- Process and send invoices.
- Handle light collections and accounts receivable.
- Manage inbound calls while assisting with shipping and receiving.
- Order supplies and manage inventory.
- Use UPS Worldship for shipping tasks.
- Perform data entry and generate checks for signature.
- Assist with bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
- Ensure vendor invoices are matched with paperwork and processed correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide support during busy periods, especially the last week of the month.
What qualifications will you have as an Administrative Assistant?
- 2-5 years of Administrative Support experience.
- Experience with accounting support and AR/AP is desired.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Online.
- Attention to detail and promptness.
- Ability to listen, write, and type effectively.
- Willingness to learn and ask for help when needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Conservative and mature demeanor.
