Floor Technician (Morning Shift)
Location: University
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour
We are currently seeking an experienced Floor Technician to join our team at the University campus. This is a morning shift position ideal for candidates with hands-on floor care and cleaning equipment experience.
Job Responsibilities

Perform daily floor care tasks including scrubbing, waxing, and polishing hard floors following a rotating schedule.

Operate floor care equipment such as automatic scrubbers, buffers, and Kaivac systems.

Maintain floors in high-traffic areas including gyms, classrooms, and office spaces.

Complete specialized campus-wide floor care routes, including:
- Pressure Washing Route: Exterior walkways, entrances, and common areas.
- Carpet Care Route: Routine and deep carpet cleaning throughout campus buildings.
- Terrazzo & Granite Care: Cleaning, polishing, and maintaining stone surfaces.
- Kaivac Cleaning: Deep cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, showers, and other high-traffic areas.

Remove soil, bacteria, and grime from hard-to-reach areas such as grout lines, corners, and behind fixtures to ensure a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
Qualifications
- Previous floor technician or floor care experience required.
- Experience using Kaivac systems preferred.
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and follow established cleaning procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
