Primary Responsibilities
- Measure, mark, cut, assemble, install, and replace glass for commercial, residential, and industrial applications
- Install glass in windows, doors, storefronts, mirrors, partitions, display cases, skylights, and related fixtures
- Remove damaged or defective glass and prepare surfaces for replacement installations
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Assemble and install metal frames, sashes, moldings, and supporting hardware
- Apply sealants, weatherstripping, and protective materials to ensure proper installation
- Operate glass cutters, grinders, suction lifts, and related equipment safely
- Transport glass and materials to job sites while ensuring safe handling practices
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments in both the shop and field
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times
Required Qualifications
- Previous glazier, glass installation, or related trade experience required
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and fit glass
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders/scaffolding, and using lifting equipment
- Ability to lift and maneuver 50–100+ lbs safely
- Basic math and measurement skills required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Compensation: $23–$29/hr (Based on Experience, Benefit Package Available)
Once Hired On: Health Benefits, 401(k), Paid Holidays, 2 Weeks PTO
