We are hiring a Hand Grinder Operator to join our manufacturing and finishing team. This role involves using hand-held grinding tools such as Dremels, angle grinders, die grinders, and rotary tools to finish, smooth, and prepare parts with precision.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand-held grinders (Dremels, die grinders, angle grinders, rotary tools) to grind, smooth, and finish metal or composite parts.
- Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, or specifications.
- Inspect finished pieces for accuracy, quality, and surface finish.
- Perform light deburring, polishing, and edge finishing.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Keep work area safe, clean, and organized.
- Work with team members to meet daily production targets.
Requirements
- Experience using hand-held grinders (Dremels, die grinders, angle grinders, or similar tools).
- Ability to read and follow instructions with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety practices in a manufacturing or workshop environment.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and precision.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
