Job Title: Industrial Sewer Pay: $17/hr Position Summary The Industrial Sewer independently performs duties necessary to produce a complete line of synthetic products according to company methods, standards, and work instructions. This role utilizes safe and efficient processes to ensure all products meet company quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

Review and interpret fabrication tickets, instructions, and drawings to understand product specifications. Select appropriate thread, materials, and equipment required for various sewn products. Set up, operate, adjust, and maintain industrial sewing machines and related equipment. Print, select, and attach the correct tags and labels to finished products. Count, record, and report inventory as required. Produce sewn products and assemblies according to company quality assurance standards. Move and handle materials as necessary throughout the production process. Identify and report defective or substandard materials, supplies, or products. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education

High school diploma or GED required. Trade school or military experience is preferred.

Experience & Skills

Experience in sewing or a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to lift or pull up to 50 pounds. Strong mechanical aptitude. Basic math and measurement skills. Solid verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks.

Work Environment

Primarily a seated position with frequent use of hands and arms for sewing operations. Repetitive wrist and arm movement throughout the workday. Occasional communication with team members and supervisors.

Travel

Travel is rare and expected to be less than 10%.

Additional Requirements

Must successfully pass a criminal background check, physical exam, and drug screening. Employment eligibility will be verified through the federal E-Verify program.
