Job Description:

Machinist 3
$22-$26 p/h

Knowledge of common shop tools including use of saws hand tools and safety training. Basic understanding of using inspection equipment, micrometers, calipers, and indicators. Entry level of blueprint reading know views and tolerance of features that apply. Basic knowledge of cutting tools drills, taps and inserts and proper use tooling and usage. Proficient at use manual lathes, mill and drill presses.

Proficient at setting up running 1 piece of CNC equipment Lathe or mill with minimal help. Knowledge of cutting conditions for tools and knowing surface footing for various materials and how to calculate them. Proficient at blue print reading and basic knowledge of GD&T. Proficient at using inspection equipment such as comparators, indicators and height stands.

Proficient at setting up and running 2 pieces of CNC equipment and all manual equipment. Must know how to program machines using CAM software and posting code. Must be able to set up machines in a timely manner with minimal scrap. Must be able to use CMM's and be able to train other employees.
