About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and forge lasting partnerships in the metal manufacturing sector. In this role, you'll leverage your deep industry knowledge to expand our customer base and strengthen existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strategic account relationships with new customers across diverse industries
- Identify and develop high-potential sales leads while uncovering growth opportunities within our existing customer base
- Coordinate and conduct customer facility tours at our state-of-the-art manufacturing locations
- Analyze technical drawings and prepare comprehensive cost estimates for labor, materials, and subcontracted work
- Create and review detailed customer quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability and optimal solutions
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of proven sales experience in manufacturing or related industries
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Expert ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
Preferred Experience
- Background in metal stamping, welding, and assembly operations
- Experience in manufacturing cost estimation
- Track record of successful account management in industrial manufacturing
