A well-established, locally owned grocery retailer in Hawaiʻi is hiring Meat Cutters to join their professional meat department team. If you have experience handling fresh meat and take pride in quality, safety, and customer service, this is a stable opportunity with strong benefits and room to grow.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cut, grind, wrap, weigh, and price fresh meat & poultry products
- Stock and maintain full, attractive meat cases
- Rotate inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste
- Order and stock prepackaged deli and frozen meat items
- Assist customers with special requests and product questions
- Operate meat department equipment safely (saws, slicers, grinders, knives)
- Maintain cleanliness and follow all food safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs
- Willingness to complete required apprenticeship or training program
- TB Clearance required
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
- Able to follow company policies and safety procedures
