A local equipment rental company in Waipahu is seeking a dependable and experienced Equipment Mechanic to join their team. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of rental equipment, including generators, compressors, backhoes, lifts, and small engine tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on various types of rental equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently
- Ensure all equipment is safe, clean, and ready for customer use
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Follow company safety procedures and protocols
Qualifications
- 2+ years of construction equipment, small engine, or diesel machinery experience
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
