Principal Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on mobile equipment including:
- Bobcat skid steers
- Bobcat excavators
- Volvo wheel loaders
- Forklifts
- Sweeping equipment
- Material handlers
- Diagnose mechanical and equipment issues accurately and efficiently
- Obtain parts and technical information needed to complete repairs
- Maintain adequate and accurate parts inventory
- Complete repairs correctly and in a timely manner
- Read and interpret technical manuals and service documentation
- Use appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting
- Complete work orders, timecards, and documentation accurately using a tablet or computer
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas
- Communicate effectively with production, management, customers, and team members
- Protect confidential company information and maintain professionalism
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (technical school preferred)
- Valid driver’s license required
- Previous mobile equipment mechanic experience preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of mechanical repair experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Proficiency with tablets, computers, and digital work order systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Compensation: $22–$30/hr (Based on Experience, Benefit Package Available)
