Job Title: Industrial RN-Onsite Nurse

As an Industrial RN-Onsite Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services within an industrial setting. Your expertise will ensure the well-being of employees by providing immediate medical care, conducting health assessments, and promoting a safe work environment. This dynamic position allows you to make a significant impact on the health and safety of the workforce while collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals.

What you’ll do

  • Provide direct patient care, including triage, assessments, and treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer medications, perform IV infusions, and conduct diagnostic evaluations as needed.
  • Collaborate with occupational health teams to implement wellness programs and health education initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Conduct physical examinations and monitor vital signs to ensure employee health and safety.
  • Manage acute pain management cases and provide support for chronic conditions in the workplace.
  • Facilitate communication between employees and healthcare providers regarding workers' compensation claims and treatment plans.
  • Stay current with NCQA standards and best practices in industrial nursing to enhance patient care.

Basic qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with experience in acute care or critical care settings.
  • Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
  • Background in geriatrics or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
  • Knowledge of botulinum toxin treatment, esthetic procedures, or hospice & palliative medicine is beneficial.
