We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end production of our custom-engineered industrial machines. Drive operational excellence through quality craftsmanship, supplier collaboration, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full manufacturing lifecycle from engineering to delivery, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards
- Supervise cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and production to streamline operations
- Uphold stringent quality control protocols for flawless machine builds
- Implement quality initiatives based on industry best practices for continuous improvement
- Cultivate strategic supplier relationships to secure high-quality raw materials and components
- Negotiate favorable pricing and terms without compromising quality standards
- Explore new manufacturing technologies to enhance machine capabilities and performance
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to integrate cutting-edge innovations
- Lead and inspire a skilled production team, fostering efficiency and a culture of creativity
- Provide mentorship, coaching, feedback to develop team members' skills
- Optimize manufacturing processes by identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks
- Analyze production data to make informed decisions driving productivity gains
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations across all operations
- Develop and enforce safety protocols, training programs, and a culture of safety
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
- Proven operations management experience in custom manufacturing
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on talent development
- Strong analytical abilities to drive data-driven operational improvements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
