## About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional painter with 5+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional quality finishes for residential and commercial projects while working independently and efficiently.

## Key Responsibilities

* Expertly prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure premium finishes
* Select and apply appropriate paints and coatings based on surface type and environmental conditions
* Work independently on-site with minimal supervision
* Maintain clean, organized work areas throughout projects
* Complete painting projects on schedule while meeting strict quality standards
* Properly use, maintain, and care for all painting equipment and tools

## Required Skills & Qualifications

* Minimum 5 years of professional painting experience
* Advanced knowledge of surface preparation techniques
* Expertise in various application methods (brushing, rolling, spraying)
* Proficient in paint mixing, matching, and color theory
* Comprehensive understanding of different paint materials and their appropriate uses
* Strong problem-solving abilities for addressing surface imperfections and application challenges
* Excellent time management skills to complete projects efficiently

## Physical Requirements

* Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
* Comfort with frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling
* Capable of safely working on ladders and scaffolding at various heights
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (paint cans, equipment, ladders)
* Adaptability to work in diverse environments (indoor/outdoor, various weather conditions)
