About the Role
Join a fast-paced printing and production team as a Press Operator and play a critical role in finishing operations for high-quality label and printed materials. You’ll operate, set up, and maintain Mark Andy, KTI, and Martin Automatic equipment, ensuring every product meets exacting quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and perform manual and machine tasks for finishing operations.
- Set up, run, and change over die cutter operations efficiently and accurately.
- Inspect labels to ensure they are error-free and defect-free.
- Perform first article and ongoing quality checks to maintain production standards.
- Support the implementation of standard work, 5S, and mistake-proofing processes.
- Work safely and promote established safety policies, reporting unsafe conditions immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through daily housekeeping tasks.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively across shifts.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2+ years in printing; flexographic experience highly preferred (wide web or offset experience considered).
- Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to troubleshoot and operate printing and finishing machinery.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Skills: Strong time management, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
