Rock Crusher Helper

Pay: $19.00/hour Shift: 2nd Shift — Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Rock Crusher Helper to assist with the safe and efficient operation of rock crushing and material processing equipment. This position is hands-on and involves working outdoors around heavy machinery and aggregate materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist the crusher operator with daily equipment operations
• Monitor and help maintain rock crushing and screening equipment
• Load, move, and process rock and aggregate materials
• Inspect equipment for buildup, damage, or potential issues
• Assist with cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery
• Shovel, sweep, and clear material around equipment as needed
• Help with conveyor belts, screens, crushers, and other plant equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in a quarry, aggregate, construction, industrial, or heavy equipment environment is a plus
• Ability to work around heavy machinery and loud environments
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
• Willingness to learn equipment operation and basic maintenance
• Previous crusher or quarry experience is preferred but not required

Schedule & Pay

$19.00/hour Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM 10-hour shifts Overtime may be available based on business needs.
