Join a trusted, family-owned company that's been serving Hawai‘i for over 60 years. We're seeking a Service Coordinator to support our equipment service operations in Kona. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, service shop experience, and a passion for customer service.
Service Coordinator Key Responsibilities
- Open and manage work orders, reconcile timecards, and ensure accurate job documentation
- Coordinate job schedules, equipment pickups/deliveries, and mechanic assignments
- Process warranty claims and collaborate with internal departments and vendors
- Maintain service records, requisitions, and department files
- Assist with customer communication, job status updates, and dispute resolution
- Support safety, credit, and housekeeping policies
- Monitor departmental metrics and identify training needs for support staff
Service Coordinator Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a service shop environment
- Strong PC and administrative skills
- Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and communication abilities
- Supervisory experience preferred
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, walk, stoop, reach, and sit for extended periods
- Work in office and shop environments with varying noise and temperature conditions
