Job Title: Shift Lead – 2nd Shift (Welder or Machinist)
Location: Manalapan, NJ
Pay Rate: $43-55/hour (plus overtime)

Position Type: Full-Time | Onsite | Monday-Friday

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and mentor CNC machinists and welders to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality production.
• Coordinate machining and welding operations to meet daily goals and maintain throughput.
• Program machines, set up tooling, and verify parameters for machining and welding jobs.
• Troubleshoot and optimize cutting and welding processes for accuracy and first-pass quality.
• Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools and welding gauges.
• Record labor hours, job data, and production results accurately in shop floor software.
• Enforce company safety standards and ensure compliance with all quality protocols.

What We’re Looking For

• 4–6+ years of CNC machining or welding experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience managing shop floor operations.
• Strong technical ability to interpret blueprints, GD&T, welding symbols, and specifications.
• Proficiency in machine programming, setup, inspection, and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent decision-making and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with production tracking systems, quality control, and continuous improvement methods.
• Hands-on experience operating CNC mills, lathes, manual machining tools, MIG/TIG/stick welders, forklifts, overhead cranes, and digital/analog measuring instruments.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy materials and maintain a clean, organized work area.
